OCASA MEMBERSHIP

Oklahoma Compost Credits

OCASA annual memberships are loaded with benefits! While supplies last, one of those benefits is an Oklahoma Compost Credit for individual, discounted student and senior memberships, and nonprofit, education, or government Entity Memberships.

Oklahoma Compost Credits can be redeemed for one (1) cubic yard of Oklahoma compost from one of our participating in-state providers. A cubic yard is approximately enough to fill a pickup truck bed so you may need help from a friend!

Some fine print:

  • Cost of delivery is not included.
  • Each Participating Compost Provider has a specific number of credits available which means your credit may only be available from one provider by the time you redeem it.
  • Oklahoma Compost Credits are not available for our for-profit Entity Members or volunteer memberships.

How to receive an Oklahoma Compost Credit

  1.  Once you've signed up as a member, you will receive a confirmation email and membership number.
  2.  Oklahoma Compost Credits will be issued as physical certificates with unique number and security details so you'll need to arrange to pick up your certificate from Fertile Ground Cooperative or from any OCASA event, like the Oklahoma Compost Conference.

How to redeem an Oklahoma Compost Credit:

  1.  Call ahead to your preferred provider or location to ensure availability for pick-up. Each location has a set number of credits and this deal won't last!
  2. Take your own or borrow a pickup truck or trailer. One cubic yard will just about entirely fill a standard pickup truck bed.
  3. You can also choose to pay for delivery, if available, for an additional cost from one of the participating compost providers.
